Genesis

PM SHRI KV Paschim Vihar, initially started in 1996, in a semi-permanent structure with 01 section up to Class V. The schools tried hard to accommodate for its students all modest infrastructure needed for learning.

Gradually the school successfully established a small computer lab, library, science lab, games field etc. thus providing congenial environment for students up to class V.

In 2003, the school shifted to its own building. The school management with the support of parent organization Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan vouched to provide all required state de art infrastructure, qualified and experienced teaching faculty to endorse the optimum exploitation of academic, physical and creative potential of the students.

Over a span of 07 years today the school has attractive child friendly activity-oriented class rooms, exclusive spacious playgrounds, 03 computer labs with educational software for computer assisted learning, full-fledged library with computer facility, well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Labs, automated office, activity & resource center, latest educational & teaching aids swimming pool & squash courts.

Seasoned and forward looking Vidyalaya Management Committee, active and visionary parents and sincere and dedicated staff endeavors to provide a constructive direction to the Vidyalayas growth.

Today, the Vidyalaya enjoys a formidable reputation in the community due to its positive strengths. Over the years the craze for seeking admissions in the Vidyalaya has gone exceedingly high.

Under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan PM Shri K.V. Paschim Vihar was formally started primarily to cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Govt. Employees, Defense personnel & floating population residing in West Zone of Delhi.

School Shifted to its own building:- Date 01.04.2003

Today PM Shri K.V.Paschim Vihar is well poised in an impressive building with all state de art infrastructure and has attained its full bloom and maturity. The perspective plan of the school is to set high global standard of education and work culture.
